Assistant Commercial Accountant

Dublin or Manchester (hybrid working model)

Role/Responsibilities

The Assistant Commercial Accountant is responsible for performing Accounts payable and

Accounts receivable duties, cash management, assist in the Month End process and completion of

Revenue/Regulations returns for the Business.

 

Key Skills & Duties

· Accounts payable and Accounts receivable duties

· Other ad hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation of Finance department

Job Requirements

· Qualified/recently qualified or part qualified Accountant with at least 5 years industry experience (Construction/Manufacturing desirable but not essential)

· Strong working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

· Strong management of cash

· Experience of working with Finance systems

· Teamwork & relationship management with internal and external stakeholders

· Flexible approach to work, planning and time management

· Awareness of all tax and VAT implications in UK & ROI

· Strong communication skills, written and verbal

· Ability to listen and appreciate impact of team’s work on the rest of the business

Accounts Supervisor (12 Months Fixed Term)

Dublin or Manchester (hybrid working model)

Role/Responsibilities

· Team management including delegation & allocation of workload, training of team, setting targets, development objectives and managing performance.

· Monitoring and processing subcontractor and supplier payments on timely basis and in line with VAT/CIS/RCT regulations to ensure accurate costs are recorded each month end.

· Monitoring and processing Contract Sales Invoices & Discounting Reconciliations in line with Company policy

· Monitoring and processing expense payments in line with Company policy

· Verification of subcontractors, contract & payment notifications through ROS for ROI works

· Issuing ledger reports and collating responses prior to payment meetings

· Processing payment runs in GBP & EUR and arranging same day/international payments

· Processing and Review of Aged Debtors/Creditors and retentions, statement reconciliations

· CIS & RCT returns

· Monitoring/processing legal claims to ensure risks are mitigated and serious issues are escalated internally

· Maintain relationship with HMRC in relation to CIS scheme and respond to any HMRC inspection requests

· Supplier query resolution – Ensuring the team is responding quickly, efficiently,proactively and professionally to all supplier queries including regular supplier statement reconciliations

· Other ad hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation of Finance department

Job Requirements

Qualifications or experience:

· Relevant Accounts Supervisor experience

· Strong working knowledge of Subcontract Ledger and CIS/RCT scheme(s)

· Experience of working with ERP systems

· Forecasting & cash flow experience

· Teamwork & relationship management with internal and external stakeholders

Head of Off-Site Manufacturing

UK & Ireland

Role/Responsibilities

The Head of Off-site Manufacturing will be responsible for the production output across the three factories based in the UK and IRL. These responsibilities will include health and safety, quality, scheduling, materials delivery to ensure the production schedule is met to the required standards.

 

The Head of Off-site Manufacturing is responsible for forecasting, planning and producing reports against KPI’s agreed with the leadership team.

 

The Head of Off-site Manufacturing will lead a team to:

• Ensure production activities are effectively planned and delivered with a view to maximising production efficiency minimising waste

• Ensure production delivery dates are met to an excellent standard

• Forecast manufacturing capabilities and direct associated resources through to the release of manufacturing orders and reporting on performance against plan.

• In conjunction with the Head of planning schedule production activity to meet the needs of the projects

• In conjunction with the Head of Health and safety and Head of off-site Quality implement H&S and Quality process and procedures

• Designing short -, medium and long-term production plans and objectives

• Implement and monitor production KPI’s

• Ensuring all planning and scheduling is undertaken in accordance with company management systems

• Identify demand and supply gaps and develop robust plans to fill them

• Capacity planning for workforce including subcontractors to ensure no interruption to the production schedule

• Continuously seek to improve production process

• Provide review of production and demand KPI’s on a weekly report

• Standardise processes across all production facilities

Job Requirements

- Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment / MMC

- Lean Manufacturing / Sigma 6

- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

- Experience in influencing, engaging, and coaching Board Directors and senior stakeholders

- Strong mathematical skills, data analysis and statistical methods

- Flexible approach to work

- Engages and empowers team members to believe anything is possible

- Drives the quality agenda
