Social, Environmental & Economic
We aim to add value at every stage in the process, enhancing the social, environmental and economic conditions of the communities we are working in.
Maximising local employment
We strive to maximise the local employment opportunities on every project by engaging with subcontractors who are located, where possible, within 30 miles of the project site. We also aim to create employment opportunities to help people get back into the workforce, particularly hard to reach groups such as long term unemployed or those with health issues.
Maximising local spend
By building local clusters of material suppliers and subcontractors, we are able to keep 60% of all project spend within the areas local to where we work.
In addition, our spend rate with SMEs is currently over 95%.
Apprenticeships & Training
We are engaged with local third level institutions to offer industry placements to support T Level courses in Construction including Design, Surveying and Planning, Onsite Construction, and Building Services Engineering for Construction. Our apprenticeships will offer students the chance to put into practice the technical and employability skills that they have gained as part of their T Level, so they can develop and hone the knowledge and skills they need to progress in the industry.
